CLC, a valuable asset for students

Tutors new to the program include Barbara Campbell, Alison Guerrero, Christina Wyutt, Thuy Cao, Samantha White, Genie Kyan, Tori Fairbank, Joshua Welch, Erin Oneal, An Cao, Shelby Leonhard. Three of these tutors are returning from last year; Joshua Welch, Mo Mora and Shelby Leonhard. Instructors include Kendra Lay, Trent Smith and Janice Urie.
The Comprehensive Learning Center (CLC) is located in the colleges library. The program has a total of 10 members who work at the center to tutor GCCC students. Each member focuses on a specific subject such as science, accounting and humanities.
This is a free tutoring program for GCCC student. Some of the benefits include individual or group study, free printing, wireless Internet and much more. The center has six individual rooms provide that a friendly atmosphere. We like to call it ‘The Academic Hub’ of GCCC, says Trent Smith, director of library and learning resources.
